What can you expect at The Church at Newtown Road?

What time does service begin?

Our worship services begin each Sunday morning at 10am. If you are unable to attend, we will be streaming our service each Sunday online on YouTube.

Location/Where do I park?

Our campus is located at 142 Lower Newtown Road Waterford, NY. As you approach our campus, our main entrances are highlighted by large monument signs. You'll want to park near our Worship Center (the largest building). It's a good idea to arrive about 10-15 minutes early, especially if you have children who will be checking into our Kids programs or if you have never attended with us before.

can I attend online instead?

As much as we’d love to see you in person, we know there are plenty of reasons why that may not be possible for you. We live stream our worship services in their entirety each Sunday at 10am so you can watch wherever you are! Watch live on YouTube!

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I WALK IN?

Currently, our main entrance to the Worship Center is on the lower level to the left of the large steps (indicated by signs). There you'll be greeted by one of our team members who will direct you to the Sanctuary, our Child Check-In, or provide you with any information you may have about our church or services.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others still prefer their "Sunday best," and that's fine too!

WHERE DO MY CHILDREN GO?

Each Sunday morning, during our worship service, our Newtown Kids programs will run for preschool through grade 5. Kids will enjoy fun songs and interactive Bible teaching. Our preschool room is located right next to our Child Check-In while Elementary (1st-5th) children meet in the Student Center. After the service, you'll pick your kids up directly from the Check-In area.

Our nursery program for children under 3 years of age is open during our service. We also offer a family room directly off the back of the sanctuary where you can bring your little one and still listen to the service if you need.

Our services typically last about 60 minutes.
